• No forms other than 201 are available, why?  

    Other forms are only unlocked after 201 is created. 

  • Where can I get a printout of the organization, resources and other information entered on the 201?

    While in the 201, click on Print/Export form icon (option located on the right side below the list of forms) 

  • Why does use of a 211 require form 234 and 215 to be filled ou?

    Currently, the system is designed to support a more robust planning process for multi-op period incidents.  In such cases, the 234 and 215 naturally come out of the planning process and need to be tied to resource ordering and check in.  At this point in the development of Enguardia, we have not separated this requirement from "super 201" type incidents.  To quickly move through this step, simply open a 234 and hit submit, then do the same for a 215.  This will put Command and Staging units in place for resource allocation and assignment. 

  • Which forms have Data-flow capabilities?

    Currently, the following forms have data flow capabilities (if information is entered):


    • ICS-201 Organization Chart flows to the ICS-203 and ICS-207 
    • ICS-201 Objectives flow to the ICS-202 Incident Objectives 
    • ICS-202 Incident Objectives flow to the ICS-234 and ICS-215  
    • ICS-203 Organization Assignment to the ICS-207 
    • ICS-234 Flows to the Planning Tool, ICS-215, ICS-210, ICS-213RR, ICS-204 and ICS-203 
    • ICS-215 flows to the ICS-213RR 
  • I want to look at a form that has been filled out, as a PDF.

    Forms are automatically sent to PDF once you click the submit button. Each form can be printed immediately by clicking on the Print/Export Form icon located at the bottom right side of the screen.  


    All forms are either in the IAP Folder or they are in Additional Reports in individual folders. 

  • There is only the Enguardia logo in the GIS Widget. Why is my GIS Map not showing up?

    Make sure that you correctly entered the URL in the GIS Map field. To see step by step instructions on entering a GIS URL into the widget, see the “Instructables” page. 

  • Our Enguardia Software was just upgraded and now I’m seeing error boxes pop up.

    After an upgrade, your browser can sometimes store some of the data from previously coded versions. First, try clearing your cookies and your cache to see if this resolves the errors. If not, please open a support ticket. 

  • I filled out the Planning Tool, but none of that information showed up on the forms.

    The Planning Tool is merely a tool that you generates a report showing what needs to be filled out on the forms in the next Operational Period. The tool does NOT go in and fill out the information on the form for you. 

  • I tried to fill out an ICS-203 form but it forced me to fill out an ICS-234 and an ICS-215 first. Why?

    Each time you enter the ICS-203 form it checks to see if new information has been entered on the ICS-234 in the way of Branches/Divisions/Groups. This is to guide users to fill in information regarding the personnel that are managing each one. Therefore, if you have not filled out an ICS-234 first, the ICS-203 form cannot pull the data over. 

  • I am in the initial Operational Period and I do not see the Planning Tool in the Menu

    The Planning tool is only used in Operational Periods following the Initial Period. Any other resources should be put on the 201. 

  • I am trying to fill out a 211e or 211p but it says I must close the previous Operation Period. Why?

    You must close the previous Operational Period using the Resource Migration tool prior to filling out a 211e or 211p so that the software can create an exception report showing any resources that were not checked out correctly from the previous Operational Period
